WHO WE ARE

Pay the Invoice is a podcast and apparel line operated by AI Acrobatics, San Diego, California, USA. Contact: julian@aiacrobatics.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you control.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Only what's needed to ship merch and stay in touch:

• Email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter or place an order.
• Order details — name, shipping address, items, and payment confirmation. Card numbers go through Shopify Checkout and never touch our servers.
• Site analytics — anonymous page-view counts via Vercel Analytics, used to know which episodes and products people care about.

We do not collect: phone numbers, demographic profiles, ad-tracking identifiers, or any "people you may know" social-graph data.

HOW WE USE IT

• Fulfilling and shipping your order.
• Sending you the weekly newsletter, if you asked for it.
• Responding when you write us.
• Understanding which products and episodes are resonating, in aggregate.

That's the entire list. No retargeting ads. No selling your email. No third-party data brokers.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

A small number of vendors that make the operation work, each only with the data they need:

• Shopify — checkout, order management, payment processing.
• Printful / Printify — print-on-demand production and fulfillment of shirts and hoodies.
• Email provider — sending the newsletter and order confirmations.
• Vercel — hosting this site and serving its anonymous analytics.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone, ever. We disclose information when legally compelled (subpoena, court order) and we will tell you when permitted.

COOKIES

We use a minimal set of cookies and local storage entries needed to make the cart work and to remember your light/dark mode. We don't run advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Order records stay for as long as we need them for accounting, warranty, and tax reasons (typically seven years). Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until you unsubscribe (one click in any email). Anonymous analytics roll off after 12 months.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can access, correct, or delete anything we have on you. Email julian@aiacrobatics.com and we'll handle it within 30 days. California residents (CCPA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) have additional explicit rights under those laws — write us and we'll comply.

CHANGES

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and email anyone on the newsletter list if the change is material. Your continued use after a change means you're OK with it; if you're not, write us and we'll delete you.
